Lombok has many beauty virgin beaches with vary of characteristic. The Selong Belanak beach is one of the best surfing spot for beginner. The beach is relatively new with white sand and blue ocean. They has about 2 until 5 meters wave which fit for those who love surfing. Like no other place, Selong Belanak ideally comfort for surfing class or beginner. The hot atmosphere and windy from the south ocean, provides perfect weather for surfing.

The Selong Belanak is located inline with Mawun beach. It is about 30 - 40 minutes away to the west or about two hours from Mataram or an hour from Kuta area by car or motor bike. From the main road, a beauty exotic tropical views may appear or some wild monkey can be found around the area. But please do not stop at the main road it will so dangerous for attacking. The smell of the ocean and farm from the local village are mixing together, burning the aromatherapy and exploding the fantasy of Lombok land. It will give extra bombastic experience of tropical escape while riding through the hills and road.

 

Thus, the long white sand crescent beach also perfect for enjoying sun batting or tanning spa. While exploring the location may possible for several reasons like the hills in the crescent side or enjoy local culinary - Sate Tanjung or Fish/Sea food Satay. Swimming and fishing also possible around through the corner side since the wave relatively soft and smooth at this area.

Transportation (Trip/Tour Route) & Cost:

• Mataram: the only way to reach Selong Belanak are using car rental or motor bike rental from Mataram. It take about two hours trip with the rute of: Gerung - by pass Internasional Lombok Airport - Batujai, turn right when meet cross line until meet Bonder - Mangkung. Or the same route to Kuta - Mawun Beach.
• Kuta: follow the main road of Mawun to the west - Selong Belanak Beach. It is about 30 minutes from the mawun beach.

Note: Entrance ticket 10.000 IDR for Motor and about 20.000 IDR for car or bus. Thus, motor rent: start 75.000 - 100.000 IDR/day, gasoline, parking and ticket are exclude.
